Media invitation to Global Offshore Wind 2025 conference and exhibition

RenewableUK is inviting journalists to attend Global Offshore Wind 2025, the UK’s leading event for the global offshore wind sector, taking place at London Excel from 17-18 June.


Over 5,000 delegates will be attending the event, which includes over 290 exhibitors from more than 50 countries, as well as over 230 conference speakers. Keynote speakers include:



  • Ed Miliband, Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero

  • Andrew Bowie, Shadow Minister (Energy Security and Net Zero) and Shadow Secretary of State for Scotland

  • Gillian Martin, Cabinet Secretary for Net Zero and Energy, Scottish Government

  • Rebecca Evans, Cabinet Secretary for Economy, Energy and Planning, Welsh Government

  • Dr Caoimhe Archibald, Minister for the Economy, Northern Ireland Assembly

  • Jane Cooper, RenewableUK Deputy Chief Executive.


Industry leaders from the biggest companies in the sector will be speaking at the conference sessions, including senior figures from our Strategic Event Partners Equinor, Ørsted, RWE, ScottishPower Renewables and Vestas, our Innovation Partner Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult and our Grid Partner Hitachi.  RenewableUK would be pleased to coordinate media interviews with our industry partners during the event.


Other speakers include the Chair of Great British Energy Juergen Maier and the Chair of the Offshore Wind Growth Partnership Tim Pick, as well as representatives from National Grid, The Crown Estate, the Climate Change Committee, WindEurope and the Global Wind Energy Council.


A wide range of topics will be covered at the event with two simultaneous conference streams across both days, as well as sessions in our Energy Transition Zone, Innovation Theatre and Supply Chain Hub. Topics include building a supply chain for the net zero era, emerging and maturing global offshore wind markets,  building the offshore wind workforce, making the net zero grid possible and the role of AI in strengthening offshore wind systems.
