Clean Power 2020 Action plan explained - member only

30 January | 10:00 | Microsoft Teams webinar

In December the Government published its Clean Power 2030 Action Plan, which set out a pathway to a clean power system through measures to unlock the grid, speed up planning decisions and develop more renewables by 2030, building on the advice of the National Energy System Operator (NESO). Its delivery is expected to yield £40 billion a year of mainly private investment in clean power projects and infrastructure.

RenewableUK has published a summary of the Action Plan and we will be hosting a webinar at 10:00am on Thursday 30 January to provide further detail on its key contents, including renewable and transmission project delivery to 2030, planning and consents, electricity market and Contracts for Difference (CfD) reforms, projected capacity ranges, and measures to strengthen the supply chain and workforce.
