Future Leaders 2025

3 December 2025 | The Carbon Trust, London | #RUKFL25

This unique event is for the next generation of leaders. It provides a select group attendees with the opportunity to learn, ask questions and collaborate with existing leaders and peers in the renewables sector.

Supported by the Shadow Board, and kindly hosted by The Carbon Trust, we are delivering an intimate programme of panels, keynotes and workshop discussions to help develop and nurture aspiring future leaders.

This event aims to foster and develop leadership skills in young professionals in the renewable energy sector by providing unprecedented access to the leaders across the space.

How to join

To ensure an intimate and interactive event, spaces are limited and attendees must complete an application for review. Applications will close on 29 August and will be judged blind. Applications are not open for previous attendees, but you are welcome to apply if you have been unsuccessful in the past. 

Apply to be a future leader via the Oxford Abstracts platform. You'll have to answer some questions about your journey in renewables, and we'll contact you to let you know whether or not you've been selected.

The price for confirmed delegates is £300 + VAT per ticket.  Bursary places are available for those who would not otherwise be able to attend.
