RenewableUK Future Systems Member Forum - 14 November 2019, Clyde & Co, London
Wind and solar power are now the cheapest forms of new generation. They will soon be even cheaper to build than using existing fossil fuel stations. Within the next decade, renewables will be the dominant form of generation. Building an electricity system based on renewables will require new assets, markets and regulations, as well as making better use of data and communication services.
With these hugely exciting changes happening, RenewableUK’s work will change too, thinking not just about how we can bring forward more renewables to the electricity system, but also about how the electricity system will need to change to support ever more renewables.
To support this work, we are launching a new Future Systems Member Forum to discuss what members need us to prioritise in the energy transition.
Register now to join the team from RenewableUK for the inaugural meeting of the Future Systems Member Forum.
