Benefits of Membership

RenewableUK has three levels of corporate membership - Sponsoring, Company and Correspondent. The higher the subscription the greater the level of service.

Sponsoring members

Sponsoring membership is for companies who wish raise the profile of their organisation within the industry and also receive priority within the Association

  • First option on all event sponsorship items and exhibition space
  • Dedicated private dinners
  • High level branding on all RenewableUK materials and website
  • Discounts on exhibition space at RenewableUK events
  • Member delegate rates at RenewableUK events
  • Places on RenewableUK working groups, giving the opportunity to influence policy - 8 places on strategy groups and 5 on subgroups (click here for more info (PDF format))
  • Any members of staff to be on unlimited interest circulation lists (see below)
  • RenewableUK staff available for private meetings
  • Free use of RenewableUK meeting rooms
  • Permission to use the RenewableUK logo on your promotional material
  • Opportunities to host RenewableUK Connect networking events
  • 12 free job adverts per year on the RenewableUK website
  • Copies of RenewableUK's quarterly journal, Real Power
  • Daily E-news service to any members of staff
  • Access to Members Area of the website, offering more detailed information on functions such as UKWED (UK Wind Energy Database) and minutes from strategy groups.
  • 5 listings in the online Member Directory
  • 8 votes at the AGM, special meetings and Board elections.

Company level member benefits

Company level is a three tier system. Fees are staggered and are based on numbers of staff and turnover. This level of membership is for those who wish to play an active role within the association.

  • Discounts on exhibition space at RenewableUK events
  • Member delegate rates at RenewableUK events
  • Places on RenewableUK working groups, giving the opportunity to influence policy - 1, 2 or 3 places on strategy groups depending on tier and 3 on subgroups (click here for more info (PDF format))
  • 5 staff to be on unlimited interest circulation lists (see below)
  • RenewableUK staff available for private meetings
  • Free use of RenewableUK meeting rooms
  • Permission to use the "Member of RenewableUK" logo on your promotional material
  • Opportunities to host RenewableUK Connect networking events
  • Unlimited job adverts on the RenewableUK website at a reduced rate of £50 per advert (for a one month run)
  • Copies of RenewableUK's quarterly journal, Real Power
  • Access to Members Area of the RenewableUK website
  • Daily E-news service to 5 members of staff
  • 5 Listings in the online Member Directory
  • 2 votes at the AGM, special meetings and Board elections

Correspondent level member benefits

This is an information only stream of membership, designed for those not looking to play an active role within the association.

  • 2 staff to be on unlimited interest circulation lists (see below)
  • 1 vote at AGM, special meetings and Board elections

Information updates for all corporate members

While the number of member representatives for each Group has to be limited, ALL RenewableUK members have access to the records of the meetings of both Strategy and Sub Groups. Separate email information lists are set up to mirror each of the work areas covered by each Group. If you would like to be added to these please contact Clare Daly (c.daly@renewable-uk.com). In addition regular updates for each area of work is posted in the 'member only' access pages of the RenewableUK website.

Small System Installer members

The RenewableUK Installer and Consultant membership stream is purely an information-feed service. RenewableUK will not be held liable for the accuracy of provided information, additionally RenewableUK exposure to risk is controlled and minimised in that this membership stream is decoupled from all associated accreditation schemes, offers no ID cards, and no use of RenewableUK logo.

  • Small Systems Health and Safety alerts
  • Listed on the RenewableUK Small Systems Installers and Consultants directory
  • Professional link to RenewableUK small systems policy groups – through RenewableUK Small Systems Manager (i.e. no individual access)
  • Access to notification of Small Systems market developments
  • For all information and publications provided to members through the RenewableUK website, it will be stated that RenewableUK will not be held liable for the accuracy of the information provided.

RenewableUK also has a membership level reserved for academic research establishments wishing to lend their support to our aims.
