Action for Renewables

The UK wide campaign to build public support for renewable energy

Action for Renewables

If you support renewable energy and want to help fight climate change, then you should join Action for Renewables.

Renewable energy has the potential to transform the UK for the better. But there are some amongst the public and media trying hard to prevent this bright future.

Action for Renewables is a grass-roots campaigning organisation that works with local people to win hearts and minds, and make the silent majority's voice heard in support of greener energy.

From the world's largest wind farms, to tidal generators for remote communities and solar power for public buildings, Action for Renewables aims to inspire and motivate the public to demonstrate their support for home-grown renewable energy.

Formerly the Embrace campaign founded in 2005, and chaired by environmental campaigner Tony Juniper, Action for Renewables works closely with RenewableUK and with campaigning groups from across the environmental sector and civil society to build networks of supporters.
